Tsuyashō

Tsuya was taken from 艶やか(Tsuyayaka)
which means glossy; sleek; shiny; lustrous
Shō was taken from 結晶(Kesshō)
which means crystal; crystallization; crystallisation

This species is still a major WIP

Tsuyashō are basically gemstone shapeshifters. They are both inspired by Houseki no Kuni & Steven Universe. Tsuyashō can be multiple types of gemstones, but are born with usually only one type.
They are both stone & gemstone.
Like in Houseki no Kuni, Tsuyashō can shatter into tiny pieces of gems & be put back together.
They also have certain hardness based of the gemstones they have. The outer layer of fur is actually a mix of soft sedimentary rocks.
Depending on the sedimentary rock, it gives the color as well as the softness of the fur.

Traits/Appearance

These traits only really matter with their main form. Only things that are always consistent is gemstone type and color of fur. Of course, you can basically paint their fur, but please state that. This and also how many gemstones they had when they formed are really the only restrictions. Just keep in mind to keep a gemstone/stone theme.

Lore

For Tsuyasho, their memories are stored within their gemstone shards. No one really knows exactly were, though. If they lose a chunk of gemstone, they could lose a few memories. The bigger the chunk the more likely they either lost a really important memory or alot of smaller memories. But, since their memories are stored within gemstones, that means that they can transfer memories to another just by handing a simple shard to another. If they were to attack the gemstone to themselves though, they wouldn't be able to keep the memory itself if they were to remove it from themself. The only way that you can keep memory of anothers memory without it being on their body is for them to hold the gem in good enough lighting. Usually they will look up toward a bright moon with the gemstone covering it. Even though its not clear, they can look at the memory within the gemstone. Although you can't hear whats happening within the gemstones, for Tsuyasho, they can look at the memory and figure out the scenario if they've looked at other memories this way enough.
